What customers say?

“ The natural potatoes are crazy filling, the cachapa is a beast with tons of flavor and is among the best I've ever had, and the arepas and empanadas, along with their delicious sauces. The atmosphere is good. The treatment from the daughter and son is fantastic, and the employees they've had are also friendly. Perhaps the strangest to deal with and serve are the owner and his wife, who are friendly but sometimes can be too overly friendly or too bland, depending on who they're with. Otherwise, it's a delicious place. ”

“ Wonderful! I often go with my parents to eat the large papas locas (crazy potatoes). One plate is enough for the three of us to eat and we're stuffed. The service is impeccable. The potatoes, aside from being gigantic, are exquisite; they're natural potatoes (not the typical bagged potatoes you use for frying). I've also tried the cachapa reina pepiada and the arepa de mechada (a traditional Mexican dish), and they're also delicious. If you're not a big eater, you'll have plenty left over! Generous and very, very good food. The prices are very good considering the quantity they serve. I've been back and will continue to come back. ”

“ Delicious arepas! Big, hot, well-filled, and cheap :) I'll definitely be back on my next visit to Tene :) ”

“ I tried this arepa place last year while on holiday in Tenerife. I've been back on the island for two days now and of course I wanted to repeat the experience from last year. The result: Just as I remembered, super friendly, the place spotless, and the arepas... mmmmmm. It will definitely continue to be my go-to spot every time I come to the island. CONGRATULATIONS ON SUCH A GREAT JOB! ”

“ Today we had breakfast at La Guaira in Santa Úrsula, and it was one of those experiences that reminds you why it's worth repeating. It's a café that, without any fuss, achieves exactly what you're looking for in the morning: quality, friendly service, and well-prepared products. We ordered a small sandwich with pork leg and cheese, which was simply perfect. The bread was perfectly crispy, the pork leg tender and flavorful, and the cheese blended seamlessly with the rest without overpowering anything. You can tell when you work with good ingredients and when things are made with care, and here it was evident from the first bite. The fresh orange juice deserves special mention. No blends or flat flavors: freshly squeezed, crisp, and with that perfect balance of sweetness and acidity that only good oranges have. An ideal accompaniment to breakfast. And the coffee… excellent. Intense aroma, clean flavor, not burnt at all, and with a pleasant touch of bitterness. It's easy to find places where the coffee is just okay, but here it's one of those that leaves you wanting more. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is friendly and fast, and you can tell the team enjoys what they do. All in all, a highly recommended café if you're in Santa Úrsula and want to start your day with a well-prepared breakfast without any unpleasant surprises. We'll definitely be back. ”

“ Excellent service, the place is very pleasant, and we found parking right away. As for the food, it was wonderful! Very well presented and the flavor was incredible. We ordered the papas locas la guaira, a arepa reina pepeada, and a cachapa with white cheese. We took home whatever was left! Finger-licking good! ”

“ The best arepas I've ever had! They come absolutely loaded, and the price is incredible for the amount of food they give you. The service is fantastic, impeccable, fast, and incredibly friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also great; I felt right at home. I go to Tenerife on holiday often, and I'll definitely be back every time I visit. To the owners: "Congratulations!" Both my coworkers and I left completely smitten. ”
